Born in Ontario, Canada, and residing in the United States as of 1984, Dr. Robert P. Landsberg enjoys dual citizenship and has been practicing medicine in the states since 1984.  Dr. Landsberg is the winner of the John Charnley Award for "The Effect of the Endoprosthetic Mismatch and Metal and Non-Metal Backed Acetabular Components of 'In Vitro' Pelvic Stress."

Dr. Landsberg trained with Dr. Richard J. Hawkins of the world-famous Steadman-Hawkins Clinic of Vail, Colorado.  He also trained with Dr. Peter Fowler, of the world-famous Fowler-Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic in London, Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Landsberg believes it is very important to remain active in the community.  He coaches Hendersonville Inline Hockey in the 12 & under division where his children, Morgan-12 and Reid-10, both play.  In previous years he has also coached Beech High School Hockey, in-line hockey in Hendersonville and ice hockey for the NYHL (Nashville Youth Hockey League).  These activities have introduced Dr. Landsberg and his family to many local families and young athletes in the community - this in turn allows him to gain a better understanding of our community's medical needs.

Dr. Landsberg is also active in his children's school, Nannie Berry Elementary, where each year he does a Hanukkah presentation for the classes.  Both Morgan and Reid assist him with this presentation, as well as his wife, Lori, who makes Potato Latkes for the children and teachers. On Career Day each year Dr. Landsberg speaks to the children about Orthopaedic Surgery where he "casts" a lucky child and demonstrate the removal as well.

Dr. Landsberg has 2 daughters in college, Shauna - 21 and Amanda - 20.  They welcomed the newest member of their family, Benjamin Martin Landsberg, on February 15, 2005.

Dr. Landsberg and his family attend Congregation Micah, a synagogue in Brentwood.
